- GIRLS ROCK! WA CAMP -

** DETAILS OF OUR SECOND CAMP FOR 2019 COMING SOON!

Our week-long day camps encourage creativity, self-expression and teamwork. They are designed to develop the confidence and skills of participants in a safe and nurturing environment.

During camp participants each have instruction on the instrument of their choice (guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, or vocals), join a band with other campers, write a song together, and perform at a showcase concert at the end of the week.

The inaugural Girls Rock! WA camp in January 2019 featured a range of expert-led workshops on topics such as performance skills, interviewing techniques, and managing your creativity, alongside performances from amazing local artists that kept campers motivated and inspired throughout the week.

Industry volunteers for the camp’s WA debut included awarded Fremantle folk singer Lucy Peach, Perth indie-rock angel Tanaya Harper, and RTRFM 92.1 breakfast presenter Taylah Strano; with some very special surprise guests still to be announced.

If you have the means and would like to support an underprivileged student attending camp, you can also donate a half scholarship ($200.00). All donations are tax deductible!

When applying for a half scholarship you need to email us to discuss your circumstances and eligibility.

WHO CAN APPLY:

Girls and GNC youth aged 11 – 17 with any level of experience on drums, bass, guitar, keyboard, or vocals are encouraged to apply. If you’re unsure whether Girls Rock! is for you please give us a call! :)
